Talib Kweli breaks down his current situation playing the game as an Indie artist. His next album Gutter Rainbows will released independently in late January. He gives props to artists like Curren$y and Wiz Khalifa who are mobilizing their fan bases largely outside the major label marketing machine. Towards the end he laments the current award etiquette that only seems to salute the big sellers in Urban music as opposed to the best music. His mother was "upset" that Eminem won a Soul Train award recently.
